Wow I used to be
obsessed with this song! It's not on forever repeat anymore but I still love it♥ Whenever I hear it, it brings back old memories and fills me with such a great nostalgic feeling :)
While I usually like choruses best, for Last Call, the verses are what really do it for me. I love the melody, and the lyrics are made up of the catchiest phrases, "know love, you were looking good tonight" being a particularly awesome one :) The great lines are sung by Dave Elkins's ultra smooth voice, which is one of my favorites. It's soft but definitely
there without being too strong. His voice makes the song sound kind of mellow, but the instruments combine to create the rock feel.
